What is CVM?
CVM stands for the Celestial Vanilla Modpack and is a modular vanilla datapack made to improve various aspects of the sandbox video game Minecraft, developed by Aeldrion with command blocks until the release of Minecraft 1.12, then with functions. It is mainly inspired by Gamemode 4, The Tempest's Box, Quark and Terraria. It uses structures from Pixlriffs. It uses a resource pack for custom items and translations, and a datapack with functions, advancements, structures and loot tables.
MinecraftCVM is available in four languages, English, French, German and Italian, and also uses custom names for Pirate Speak and LOLCAT.
All downloads for MinecraftCVM can be found in Downloads.
Versions and generations
Releases of CVM are organized in versions and in generations. Versions (such as 1.0, 1.1, 1.2...) add new features to the datapack whereas generations only add structures and mobs. The generation system will be introduced in the upcoming version 1.2. As of November 2018, CVM is in version 1.1.0 for Minecraft 1.12.2.
Most MinecraftCVM additions are classed into different modules that have their own role and features.
Here is a list of all modules in the upcoming version 1.2:
- Nether Cores
- Rocket Boots
- Vein Miner
